Welcome to the Northeast Business & Economics Association Homepage.  Please join us on Facebook where we hope to establish a dialogue among the members. Remember this is your association.

The Northeast Business & Economics Association, Inc., formerly the New England Business and Economics Association, was founded in 1973. The purposes of the association are a) to promote multidisciplinary research pertaining to business and economics; and b) to improve communications and to encourage the exchange of research, both applied and theoretical, among all interested parties.

These broad purposes are met by the continuance of an annual meeting and the publication of the Journal of Business & Economic Studies. The JBES is published by the School of Business, Dowling College, Oakdale, NY, 11769 and can be reached via email at riveral@dowling.edu.

In 2012, the 39th Annual Conference sponsored by the
Northeast Business & Economics Association will be held from October 25 to October 27 at Danfords Hotel and Marina in Port Jefferson, Long Island, New York. See the 2012 conference call for papers page for more details.  The conference will be co-hosted by Dowling College and Worcester State University.

When the documents become available, we will post the tentative program schedule as well as instructions for session chairs, discussants, and presenters on the
NBEA documents page.  Please check the documents out by scrolling to the bottom of the page and accessing the 2012 documents.  We look forward to seeing you in Port Jefferson.
