The Northeast Business & Economics Association is holding its 43rd Annual Conference at the The Historic Thayer Hotel in West Point, New York from November 10-12, 2016. Discounted accomodations are available at the Thayer Hotel and all conference sessions will take place at the Thayer Hotel. 

The NBEA has arranged a tour of West Point for its guests at the conclusion of the conference. A bus will pick up those who wish to participate in this event at The Thayer Hotel at 12:30PM on Saturday and will conclude the tour at 2:00PM. Because of the secure nature of the West Point facility, we will need you to RSVP for this tour so that we can put your name and other personal information on a manifest for the tour company. The NBEA will provide box lunches for this event.  You should RSVP to and send us your security information. The US Military Academy needs your Name, Date of Birth, Type of ID, State/Country, ID number, and Gender. If you have already registered for the conference and input your identification data on to your registration form, we do not need it again. If you do not remember if you sent us your data, just drop us an email at and we will tell you if you need to send your information. If however, you are bringing a guest, your guest will need to provide identification by clicking here and filling out the form. Note that you will need to do this for EACH guest you plan to bring on the tour. 


Rooms at the conference rate are now sold out and there is very limited inventory at the Thayer Hotel.

The room group rate is $159 for reservations made prior to October 1, 2016. Contact the hotel directly for reservations at 1-800-247-5047 and mention Northeast Business & Economics Association.  You may make hotel reservations through the following link but make sure that the NBEA code and rate appears. You may choose a one king bed, one queen bed, or a two bed room. 

For your convenience, the group rate of $159 will be available for the night prior to and night after the confernence but the availability will be limited so please make your hotel reservation early.  If you want to book the night prior to or the night after the conference, you must call Joelle Bunkoff directly at 845-446-4731 extension 7905 to make your hotel reservation.

Every person visiting the Thayer Hotel on the campus of the United States Military Academy must provide valid identification in the form of either (1) a Driver's License, (2) a State Issued Identification card, or (3) a current Passport. You will provide your identification form information in the Registration link. If you do not provide this information, you may be subject to secondary security and may be barred from entering the grounds of West Point. Please, take the time to provide this important information as the NBEA looks forward to your participation in the conference.
